He had never heard of ASUS Eee until a few days before I actually bought 1005HA.
The 10.5 hours battery life has my attention. The battery does not run for at least 7 hours for me and is more than I expected.
The netbook does the job. The screen is feasible and the keyboard is good. Not the fastest laptops, but the speeds are tolerable.
Aside from the battery, where scores the most is the small size / thin and light design makes it very portable.
Disadvantage - It 'fingerprint easy and I plan to cancel all the time!

The two most important considerations to keep in mind when looking for a cheap laptop computer
Purchase is what you do and how much money you can spend will be using.
Few buyers have an unlimited budget to spend on top of the line hardware.
Light use consists of checking emails, surfing the Internet, word processing and playing music. Laptops in this area may have purchased less than $ 500 for being new. Even cheaper if they are used.

Many other reviews here to provide valuable details on this machine. I just want to add another observation, which is almost impossible to find websites and reviews PC vendors. The screen on the Toshiba running approx. 135 degrees, while the screens on many other machines (for example, the Asus models very popular), in rotation, ca. 110 degrees. Given the size of these machines, if the keyboard is at a height comfortable for the hands, then the screen is much smaller than a laptop (and certainly an office). Therefore, for comfortable viewing, you should be able to rotate the screen as possible. This feature of the Toshiba was enough for me to choose this model of competition.

I went to Best Buy, shop and immediately tried to talk me out of buying netbooks start. To go with full-sized laptops cheap - and I expect more expensive than Netbooks!
I found it on sale at Walmart. For $ 300 +, I said to the devil. Worth the risk. The boy was badly dealer! I have used this extremely lightweight netbook documents, surf the Internet and streaming video. It will not be streaming HD video, but with a screen resolution of small, really do not see the difference with the standard quality.
